Berry Vrbanovic
Federation of Canadian Municipalities
Berry Vrbanovic has a history of active involvement and community leadership. Since he was first elected in 1994, Berry has worked tirelessly for his constituents and for the residents of Kitchener as a whole.
Vrbanovic – a ward resident, has lived in the Stanley Park neighbourhoods for almost 30 years now. He graduated from St. Daniel’s Elementary School, the former St. Jerome’s High School and Wilfrid Laurier University. Berry has over
20 years work experience in both the private and public sectors, including owning his own small businesses.
One of the most active and vocal members of Kitchener City Council on behalf of his constituents, this past term, Berry has served as the Chair of the Finance & Corporate Services Committee, Co-Chair of the Environment and Safe & Healthy Community committees and Chair of the Healthy Community Plan Working Group.
He also sits on numerous community and national boards including the Centre in the Square Board, the Kitchener Public Library Board, Wilfrid Laurier University Board of Governors, KW Oktoberfest Advisory Council, Canadian Police Sector Council board and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities Board, where he also serves as President.
